Organizations Filed Purposes: EMPOWERING NATIONAL LEADERS TO BRING LASTING CHANGE IN THEIR COMMUNITY.

GIVING CHILDREN HOPE:THE MISSION OF AIM IS TO WORK WITH IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES AND, THROUGH EDUCATION, PROVIDE THEM THE TOOLS FOR SUCCESS. OUR PRIMARY FOCUS IS OUR WORK WITH 872 CHILDREN THROUGH A PROGRAM CALLED GIVING CHILDREN HOPE. THE PRIORITY FOR MOST POOR FAMILIES AND THEIR CHILDREN IS TO FIND ANY MEANS TO FEED THEM. EDUCATION INADVERTENTLY TAKES A BACK SEAT. OUR GOAL IS TO HELP THESE CHILDREN STAY IN SCHOOL, AS EDUCATION IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY. THESE CHILDREN RECEIVE FREE TUTORIALS, SCHOOL UNIFORMS, BOOKS, SHOES, NUTRITIOUS MEALS, AND TOILETRIES FOR PERSONAL HYGIENE. MANY OF THESE CHILDREN ARE IN AREAS WHERE THEY HAVE CONTRACTED UNCURABLE DISEASES. THROUGH CONSISTENT AND STEADFAST EFFORTS WE ARE ABLE TO BRING LASTING CHANGE TO LIVES IN INDIA, NEPAL, PHLIPPINES, ECUADOR, AND PERU.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH & TRAINING:AIM'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER NATIONAL GRASSROOTS LEADERS SUCH THAT THEY CAN BRING LASTING CHANGE TO THE COMMUNITY. OUR EFFECTIVENESS IS DEPENDENT ON THE EFFICIENCY OF THESE LEADERS IN ACCOMPLISHING THEIR WORK, THEREFORE WE FOCUS ON EQUIPPING THEM THROUGH EMPOWER CONFERENCES. THROUGH OUR 6 LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES, WE EQUIPPED 485 NATIONAL LEADERS IN INDIA, NEPAL, ECUADOR, AND PERU. OUR HIGHER LEVEL OF LEADERSHIP TRAINING IS DONE THROUGH ALPHA COLLEGE OF THEOLOGICAL STUDIES (ACTS). 25 STUDENTS ARE ENROLLED FOR A 2-YEAR DIPLOMA, A 3-YEAR BACHELOR'S IN THEOLOGY, AND A 2 YEAR MASTER'S IN DIVINITY PROGRAM. 7 STUDENTS GRADUATED FROM THE ACTS THIS YEAR.

COMMUNITY TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS: THROUGH OUR PROJECTS, OUR GOAL IS TO BRING LASTING CHANGE IN THE COMMUNITY. CLEAN WATER IS A BIG NEED IN THESE COMMUNITIES, AND WE DRILLED 6 CLEAN WATER WELLS THIS YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, 6 MOTORCYLES AND 7 BICYCLES WERE GIVEN TO THE LEADERS SINCE TRANSPORTATION IS A CHALLENGE IN MANY OF THESE REMOTE COMMUNITIES. WE ALSO PROVIDED 250 NEW SHIRTS FOR THE LEADERS. AIM PROVIDED FREE MEDICAL CARE TO 150 PEOPLE THROUGH 1 MEDICAL CAMP. 1,000 SWEATERS AND UNIFORMS WERE GIVEN TO CHILDREN. 1,600 PEOPLE RECEIVED RELIEF PACKAGES IN AREAS HIT BY CYCLONES AND FLOODS. THE RELIEF PACKAGES INCLUDED ESSENTIAL GROCERIES, SUPPLIES, CLOTHING AND PLATIC TARPS. THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EDUCATIONAL BUILDING OF THE AIM CENTER OF HOPE IS MAKING GREAT PROGRESS.
