The Center participates in the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project's Farm Tours and the Farm Heritage Trail events sponsored by Buncombe County's Soil and Water Conservation Service. Workshops, tours, and plant walks are conducted throughout the year to help expand the wider community's awareness of ecological conservation and the need for the widespread implementation of renewable energy systems and appropriate technologies.
