Our mission is to protect the citizens of our fire district and give mutual aid to surrounding districts.
CAFD serves the community as a fire fighting and rescue organization. We respond to emergencies: Fires, accidents, EMS,safety concerns,rescue. We have a safety program at the elementary school, train our members on site and away, and provide equipment to perform their duties as safely as possible.
To provide fire protection to our community of approximately 5000 citizens.
To educate elementary school children at Cliffside Elementary School K thru 3rd grade on fire safety.
To set up a booth during the anual Cliffside Day. We operate a fire house, give free literature, pencils, hats, etc. to educate the community and show them what to do to escape a burning house.
