ASSESSMENT -- SERVED 29 INDIVIDUALS GOALS: MAXIMIZE PROGRAM COMPLETERS -- GOAL 85%, ACTUAL 94% MAXIMIZE SATISFACTION WITH SERVICES -- GOAL 90%; ACTUAL 100% WORK TRAINING -- IN FACILITY SERVED 41 INDIVIDUALS GOALS: MAXIMIZE NUMBER WHO RECEIVE A MAJOR BENEFIT (OBTAINED EMPLOYMENT OR READY FOR EMPLOYMENT) -- GOAL 11; ACTUAL 11 MAXIMIZE SATISFACTION WITH SERVICES -- GOAL 90%; ACTUAL 100% MAXIMIZE NUMBER OF 26 CLOSURES -- GOAL 10; ACTUAL 7 EMPLOYMENT COACHING SERVICES (INCLUDES JOB DEVELOPMENT, JOB PLACEMENT AND JOB COACHING SERVICES). ADULT DEVELOPMENT AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAM (ADVP)/COMMUNITY LIVING FACILITIES & SUPPORT (CLFS) SERVES INDIVIDUALS WITH SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THIS IS A LONG-TERM PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES WORK TRAINING, COMPENSATORY EDUCATION, VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AND SENIOR SERVICES. INDIVIDUALS SERVED -- 65. GOALS: MAXIMIZE ATTENDANCE TO 80% -- GOAL 75%; ACTUAL 81% MAXIMIZE NUMBER OF CLIENTS WHO PARTICIPATE IN A MINIMUM OF TWO INCLUSION ACTIVITIES -- GOAL 90%; ACTUAL 100% MAXIMIZE SATISFACTION WITH SERVICES -- GOAL 90%; ACTUAL 100%
PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES PROVIDE WORK TRAINING, INCLUDING ASSEMBLY, INSPECTION, MATERIAL HANDLING AND HOUSEKEEPING, TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND DISADVANTAGES. CLIENTS PERFORM WORK FOR AREA INDUSTRIES SUCH AS ABB, DRAKA ELEVATOR PRODUCTS, ADVANTAGE WIPING, ROCKY MOUNT CORD, MORRISETTE, KABA, AND THE NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES NOT ONLY PROVIDE WAGES FOR INDIVIDUALS, IT IS THE MEANS TO TEACH APPROPRIATE WORK BEHAVIORS AND THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD QUALITY WORK.
