WECAHN promotes health and wellness in our communities by offering prevention education, testing, access to care, and support services for people infected, affected or at high risk for HIV/AIDS, STDs and other health disparities.
WECAHN supports and develops strategies that will reduce the behaviors that put persons at risk for HIV, AIDS, and other sexually transmitted diseases. The organization also promotes the support and care of Chatham residents affected by HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. These programs of education and outreach are offered to the general public as well as programs targeted to Latinos and African Americans, two populations disproportionately affected by these diseases.
