Communities In Schools of Brunswick County (CIS) worked in partnership with Brunswick County Schools and other partners to serve at-risk students. CIS provided tutors, mentors, academic assistance, attendance monitoring, behavioral interventions, parent engagement opportunities, and social-emotional learning groups. During the fiscal year, more than 400 students received individualized support and over 1,100 benefited from school wide support, basic needs items, and enrichment activities.
