In 2020, Moms Across America continued to raise awareness across all of its existing platforms. Moms Across America continued to support local events with educational materials, research, and awareness regarding the health risks of GMOs and toxins, as well as offer solutions and advocacy.
Education:A) MAA continued to build a food movement by informing and further educating millions each month via social media, live events, and campaigns. Moms Across America (MAA) reached an average of 1 million a month on Facebook and other social media platforms.B) We initiated several new campaigns and promoted the campaigns of dozens of other organizations with petitions and other means to reach millions with information that transformed their understanding of the food supply and introduced them to opportunities for better health and disease prevention (con Sch O).C) In 2020, MAA's executive director continued to appear on many radio and podcasts, major TV and news features, including several episodes of her own podcast and weekly recordings of her Moms Connect meetings. Our executive director also wrote articles that appear in large web and print properties. We are passionate pioneers of organics, influencers in our neighborhoods, and leaders in our communities.D) MAA wrote and shared over 30 articles in 2020 on topics ranging from the retailer's role in food security to the true cost of toxic food. MAA articles have been viewed by over 200,000 visitors in 2020.E) Our Action and Toxin Free Town Campaign pages have been viewed 2500 times in 2020, supporting moms and citizens across the country to be successful in having recorded many new locations that restrict on ban glyphosate on school grounds, parks, towns, and countries. These bans mean hundreds of thousands of pounds of glyphosate herbicides will not be polluting our water and communities.F) MAA continued to shape our narrative by creating relationships and collaborating with other organizations in 2020 to leverage our efforts for the greatest impact.G) In mid-2020, MAA secured special funding for an advocacy tool that allowed for 9 campaigns that allowed participants to directly reach decision-makers on topics ranging from retiring harmful products on retailer's shelves to demanding warnings on harmful products.
Health Solutions:Seen as a trustworthy source of information, MAA in response to over 1,000 supporter requests, and with expert advice and after careful deliberation, offers through the MAA website, carefully selected and vetted health solution products proven to support health. MAA only considers those products that come highly advised, tested, and have many testimonials from mothers. Providing this public service has been an honor and responsibility MAA does not take lightly. Altogether, we had about 1,000 people buy products from us in 2020.
