To support the positive development of young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability through community building, education, access to services and resources and youth empowerment.
HomePlate serves meals to youth at the drop-in meal program 3 nights per week, and one day drop-in center on Tuesdays. Youth in unstable conditions can find out about resources for housing employment and education, etc. We opened a new drop-in center in Aloha, Oregon. HomePlate also provides street outreach four days a week and basic needs services to youth in public places such as parks and transit centers. 480 youth were served in 2019.
