The Oregon Amateur Sports Foundation educates, promotes and provides opportunities for all Oregonians to improve their lives through physical fitness and sports.
The annual State Games of Oregon is the largest program of the Oregon Amateur Sports Foundation. Over 5,000 athletes competed in the 2018 State Games, with athletes ranging in age from 5 to 88. We were able to offer entry fee assistance to all indviduals who requested it based on economic need in 2018. In addition to organizing the Olympic-style sports festival, the OASF also served as a resource for individuals looking for information on various sports and assisted with the management of the Oregon Center for Sports and Recreation.
