To provide physical, occupational therapy and behavioral health services to children and families based on their needs regardless of their financial or insurance limitations
In 2019 we provided 8433 therapy treatments, a 51 percent increase. 55 percent of our clients had Medicaid insurance most of which required assistance from our scholarship fund. We provided approximately $67,000 worth of free care in 2019. We added behavioral health and equine assisted mental health to our therapy programs with the addition of a licensed marriage and family therapist, a licensed professional counselor and three additional physical therapists in addition to an office manager. In Sept, 2019 we purchased 2.5 acres with a home/clinic and indoor pool to accommodate the growing need for our services and to also add aquatic therapy to our services as well as hippotherapy (PT or OT using the horse) animal assisted therapy and horticulture therapy. At the end of 2019 we had 200 children on our waitlist. It is anticipated that with the addition of this new location we will be able to provide the care that is needed for those on our waitlist.
