The estimated cost of providing these services was approximately $177,000 for the year ended December 31, 2019, calculated by multiplying the ratio of cost to gross charges for the Hospital by the gross uncompensated charges associated with providing charity care to its patients. The Ogranization receives funds to offset expenditures, including payroll and equipment, and to offset or subsidize charity care services. The amount of funds received was $1,445,663 for the year ended December 31, 2019.
