The Hillsoro Community Foundation enhances the livability and quality of life in our community by promoting and facilitating charitable giving to address local needs.
Awarded seventy-eight (78) grants totaling $390,989 to non-profit social service, education, arts, parks, and youth organizations in the community. Of that amount, $215,500 in grants were in direct response to the COVID-19 crisis providing funding to social service organizations to address the dire needs in our community.
Awarded five (5) scholarship amounting to $13,500 to Hillsboro High School graduates for higher education programs at non-profit colleges and universities. Four were for first generation college attendees.
Conducted and participated in community outreach to raise awareness about the importance of giving back with financial support and by volunteering, and to connect people with causes they care about.
