Klamath Hospice, Inc. provides bereavement services free of charge. These services include patient/family follow-up for at least 13 months following the patient's death, communit grief support groups and workshops, individual grief counseling, remembrance services, and a bereavement camp for approximately 50 youths - age 8 to 18.
Klamath Hospice and Palliative Care provides a palliative care program for in-home care for those seriously ill individuals who are often unable to leave their home. The program is designed for patients who do not meet hospice eligibility requirements; or patients who are still seeking curative treatment and thereby dont qualify for hospice services; or patients who qualify for hospice services but are not yet ready for hospice. In 2019, the number of patients who received palliative care services was 9 patients.
