Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to expand the range of educational opportunities available to students in the District and to encourage excellence, innovation, and creativity in our educational system.
Other programs funded by the McMinnville Education Foundation include Battle of the Books to promote reading, education in technology and history, and to provide Teacher Mini Grants.
The Science Program offers hands-on science experiences outside the classroom to every elementary student in kindergarten through 5th grade. The program is aligned with the state science standards established by the Oregon Dept of Education. More than 3,000 students are served.
Music Boosters supports music education at the elementary, middle and high school levels in the McMinnville School District. The Music Boosters has been able to help fund accompanists, guest clinicians, instrument purchases, student trips and festivals, student scholarships, student music camps and more. Music Boosters supports more than 500 students in McMinnville, Oregon.
