The mission of CASA of Jackson and Josephine counties is to provide specially trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes.
Recruited, trained, and supported court appointed volunteer advocates who speak up for abused and neglected children so they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. During the fiscal year covered by this return, CASA used 268 volunteers to advocate for 854 children. 277 of those cases closed in the period, and 432 new children came into care. CASA also manages Family Finding and Connections, a program which researches, locates, and helps reunite children with lifelong family connections.
