Friends of Willamette Falls Media Center was created to sustain and support media communication services for local residents, academic institutions, and governing bodies of Clackamas County.
To establish and operate a vibrant, creative and inclusive non-profit community media production center.
Friends of Willamette Falls Media Center operated a community media center for the benefit of residents, businesses and governmental entities of Clackamas County, Oregon. The Center provided cablecast services and recorded governmental and community meetings for five local governmental entities. The Center also provided media literacy classes for community members and supported local volunteer producers in creating their own media.
WFMC improved and outfitted kitchen, studios and editing spaces for production for the use of the general public to create content for public access broadcasts; repaired exterior trim and lighting and painted; repaired the HVAC system; made improvements on the lower level classroom for safety and functionality for the public who use the space.
