TO SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF EXCEPTIONAL CARE AT REDUCED COSTS, CCO OREGON AIMS TO SERVE ALL STAKEHOLDERS THAT TOUCH COORDINATED CARE IN OREGON.CCO OREGON SHALL SERVE MEMBERS BY:* FACILITATING POSITIVE INTERACTION WITHIN THE COORDINATED CARE COMMUNITY.* SHARING AND TEACHING PROMISING NEW INNOVATIONS.* ACTING AS A RESOURCE FOR COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION.* SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMMUNITY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PLANS.* DEVELOPING AND PROMOTING POLICY THAT SUPPORTS HEALTH TRANSFORMATION.
CCO OREGON IS A NON-PROFIT MEMBER ASSOCIATION THAT AIMS TO BE SHAPED BY AND TO SERVE ALL STAKEHOLDERS THAT TOUCH COORDINATED CARE IN OREGON. OUR PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF EXCEPTIONAL CARE AT REDUCED COSTS WHILE PROMOTING THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF OREGONIANS.
CCO OREGON PROGRAMS INCLUDE WORKGROUPS, RETREATS, AND THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND MEETING. THE CURRENT WORKGROUP FOCUS AREAS ARE:* BEHAVIORAL HEALTH,* ORAL HEALTH,* GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS,* PHARMACY, AND* SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH AND HEALTH EQUITY.THE WORKGROUPS MEET REGULARLY, HAVE A CO-CHAIR(S), AND ARE FACILITATED BY CCO OREGON STAFF. RETREATS HAPPEN A FEW TIMES A YEAR BY PROGRAM AREA AND ARE HOSTED BY THE WORKGROUPS FOR A LARGER AUDIENCE WITH A GREATER ALLOCATION OF TIME. (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)THE AGENDAS FOR EACH WORKGROUP OR RETREAT ALIGN WITH STATE-LEVEL POLICY DISCUSSIONS, NATIONAL TRENDS, AND THE INTERESTS OF OUR MEMBERS AND THE POPULATIONS THEY SERVE.RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:* PIVOTED TO COVID-RELATED ISSUES AND CONCERNS, MAINTAINING RELEVANCY AND SUPPORT FOR OUR MEMBERS* STRENGTHENED RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PARTNERS AND WORKED ACROSS COALITIONS TO ALIGN PRIORITIES AND TARGETED ACTION* HOSTED A VIRTUAL ANNUAL MEETING AND CONFERENCE WITH OVER 400 ATTENDEES* REPRESENTED MEMBERS INTERESTS IN ONGOING ADVOCACY TO OPTIMIZE INCENTIVE METRICS AND IMPROVE THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS* CONTINUED TO LEAD DISCUSSION ON DRUG COST CONTAINMENT STRATEGIES WITH MEMBERS AND THE STATE AGENCY* TRACKED INCOMING FEDERAL COVID DOLLARS, POLICY CHANGES, NEW STAKEHOLDER GROUPS, AND MULTIPLE EMERGENCY LEGISLATIVE MEETINGS OVER THE COURSE OF THE PANDEMIC, WILDFIRES, AND RACIAL JUSTICE ACTIONS* FURTHERED RELATIONSHIPS WITH MEMBERSHIP
