WE ALSO WORKED WITH OUR MEMBERS IN 4 STATES TO BUILD HIV POLICY COALITIONS WITH LEADERS ON THE GROUND.
THROUGH OUR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM WE BUILD STRONG LEADERS WHO INSPIRE ACTION AND DRIVE PROGRESS IN THEIR HOME STATES. DURING 2019 OUR ANNUAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE BROUGHT TOGETHER 235 MOVEMENT LEADERS TO LEARN FROM EACH OTHER AND FROM EXPERTS, WHILE BUILDING THE RELATIONSHIPS THAT FUEL AND SUSTAIN THEM THROUGH CHALLENGING TIMES. WE CONVENED OVER 50 STATE LGBTQ LEADERS FOR OUR 3 REGIONAL SUMMITS WITH STRONG PARTICIPATION FROM LEADERS IN THOSE REGIONS. WE PROVIDED TAILORED ON-SITE ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES IN 8 STATES, AT LEAST 4 OF WHICH WERE IN THE SOUTHERN REGION.
