IN 2019, WE SERVED MORE THAN TWO THOUSAND STORE CUSTOMERS: 59 BIKE TOOLS AND ACCESSORIES, 1,581 HOP TICKETS, 115 HOP CARDS, AND 462 HOP FARES (RE)LOADED. WE HAVE 318 LLOYD CYCLE STATION MEMBERS - 97 NEW MEMBERS REGISTERED IN 2019.THERE ARE 3,746 UNIVERSAL PASS HOLDERS TRANSITIONED TO HOP FASTPASS. WE PRINTED 219 UNINVERSAL PASSES PRIOR TO THE TRANSITION AND 688 PERSONALIZED HOP FASTPASSES AFTER THE TRANSITION.
BICYCLES: THE BICYCLE COMMITTEE WORKS TO INSTALL AND IMPROVE BIKE INFRASTRUCTURE AND HOSTS FREE EVENTS THAT ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO BIKE. IN 2019, THE BICYCLE COMMITTEE HOSTED 44 EVENTS TO INSPIRE AND MOTIVATE LLOYD'S NEW AND VETERAN CYCLISTS. THESE EVENTS WERE 10 BIKE REPAIR DAYS, 2 COMMUNITY BIKE RIDES, 5 BIKETOWN ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS GIVE AWAY, 7 BIKE WORKSHOPS, 5 BIKE MORE CHALLENGE MINI GRANTS AWARDED, AND 15 BICYCLE COMMITTEE EVENTS. WE ALSO DONATED 26 NEW BICYCLE PARKING SPACES.WE HANDED OUT 300 REFLECTIVE ANKLE BANDS AND 446 BIKE LIGHTS.GO LLOYD HOSTED LLOYD CYCLE STATION TOUR FOR WE RIDE AUSTRALIA'S VISITING DELEGATION FROM OVERSEAS.
PEDESTRIAN: THE PEDESTRIAN COMMITTEE WORKS TO MAKE WALKING IN LLOYD SAFE, FUN, EASY, AND INTERESTING FOR EVERYONE. OUR PROJECTS FOCUS ON SAFETY, HEALTH, AND WALKABLE INFRASTRUCTURE.IN 2019, THERE ARE 41 PEDESTRIAN COMMITTEE EVENTS. THEY ENGAGED 315 COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN WALKING EVENTS: 2 LLOYD WALKING TOURS, 4 VISION ZERO STREET TEAMS, AND 14 GROUP WALKS.WE INSTALLED 18 PUBLIC GARBAGE CANS, 21 TRASH MOBS IN LLOYD, CLEANED UP 2,000 POUNDS OF TRASH, AND HANDED OUT 15 FLASHLIGHT-HANDLE UMBRELLAS, 300 MINI FLASHLIGHTS, 700 WALKING MAPS.WE HIRED INTEGRATED AVIAN SOLUTIONS TO KEEP NEIGHBORHOOD SIDEWALKS FREE FROM WINTER-ROOSTING CROW DROPPINGS.
