Green Empowerment works with local partners around the world to strengthen communities by delivering renewable energy, clean water, andcomplementary health, environmental, and capacity building projects. Our niche is the intersection of technology solutions, conservation, and community engagement. Since 1997, we have prioritized integrated projects that improve human well-being, address social justice issues, are ecologically and economically sustainable and have the potential for broad impact beyond any one community. In 2019 alone, Green Empowerment projects supported over 7,000 individuals across 96 communities in 8 countries. Together with partners we helped 728 people gain access to electricity through renewable energy at their home or school, 2,900 gain improved health services through renewable energy in health clinics, provided 2,446 people with access to clean water, 505 homes received clean cooking technology and trained 975 members of beneficiary communities.
