Organizations Filed Purposes:
Hand2Mouth is a group of artists who make plays and places for people today. We celebrate the potential of the live encounter and investigate the passions of our hearts and times in order to build new windows that open to the world. Driven by connection and joy, we use evolving methods to create original performance events that are bold and accessible. In 2017 we established Student Voices, theatre education for underserved youth at multiple Portland public schools.
Hand2Mouth (H2M) is a theatre ensemble committed to creating original work this is bold and accessible. H2M teaches theatre eduction in \ public schools at no cost to the students.
Object Karaoke 2019 is a continuation fo research into the "thing power:" begun with Object Karaoke 2018 - a one night only performance. The new production invites new objects, and several new artists, to create a farewell performance to Artist Rep's Alder Stage.
Dream Logic transports you into a world parallel to our own. A world of strange creatures and machines where the rules of our own reality don't apply, where the same door can take you to infinite places. Dream Logis is a fully immersive theatre piece designed for children and adults
In July 2019, H2M collaborated on Universo II, A theatrical concert that highlights a concept album from local Queer Latino man, Joaquin Lopez. The Production was a bilingual, multimedia moving collage of images and video interwoven with soundtrack and soundscape that invites the audience to enter the emotional panorama of a man traveling through the cosmic journey of becoming whole and embracing all parts of himself.
