THE MISSION OF THE PEOPLE OF PRAISE VANCOUVER WASHINGTON IS TO BUILD A BETTER WORLD IN THE IMMEDIATE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA. WE DO THIS THROUGH EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES AND SERVICE OUTREACH TO PEOPLE IN NEED. WE ASPIRE TO BUILD CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY IN WAYS THAT FOSTER A TRUE CHRISTIAN HUMANISM IN NEIGHBORHOOD AND CIVIC LIFE. PEOPLE OF PRAISE VANCOUVER WASHINGTON SERVES DIRECTLY ABOUT 130 PERSONS, INCLUDING MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN. BEYOND THAT, IT INDIRECTLY SERVES AN ADDITIONAL APPROXIMATELY 25 PERSONS. IT DOES THIS THROUGH PROGRAMS OF YOUTH DEVELOPMENT (YOUTH MINISTRY, SUMMER CAMP, ACTION OUTREACH ACTIVITIES SERVING THE ELDERLY AND OTHERS IN NEED IN THE LOCAL AREA), ASSISTING COLLABORATIVELY WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS/NON-PROFITS WITH MATCHING GOALS AND MISSION BOTH LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY, AS WELL AS SPONSORING OR CO- SPONSORING VARIOUS PRAYER EVENTS FOR CHRISTIANS OF VARIOUS DENOMINATIONAL BACKGROUNDS. THIS IS DONE YEAR ROUND AND WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF FOSTERING A BETTER WORLD FOR OURSELVES AND FOR OUR NEIGHBORS, DOING WHAT WE CAN TO PROMOTE HUMAN FLOURISHING THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL OUTREACH ACTIVITIES. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO RUNNING A SCHOOL, SPONSORING PRAYER MEETINGS, REACHING OUT TO THE HOMELESS AND ELDERLY, PUTTING ON SEMINARS TO FOSTER AND IMPROVE CHRISTIAN LIVING, YOUTH ACTIVITIES, AND OUTREACH THAT FOCUSES ON THE BETTERMENT OF THE BROADER COMMUNITY.
TRINITY ACADEMY IS A SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-12. TRINITY PROVIDES ITS STUDENTS WITH A WELL-ROUNDED ACADEMIC PROGRAM, INTEGRATING GREAT BOOKS-BASED HUMANITIES EDUCATION, ADVANCED STEM COURSES, AND AN ARTS CURRICULUM CENTERED ON STUDENT PARTICIPATION AND PERFORMANCE. TRINITY'S APPROACH FAVORS STUDENT ENGAGEMENT AND PARTICIPATION IN A NURTURING CHRISTIAN SCHOOL CULTURE. TRINITY ACADEMY'S VISION ENTAILS BEING ACCESSIBLE TO STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS INCOME LEVELS AND BACKGROUNDS, AND THE MAJORITY OF STUDENTS RECEIVE NEED-BASED FINANCIAL AID. ENROLLMENT FOR THE YEAR WAS 102 STUDENTS.
