Organizations Filed Purposes:
ROSE connects our community to build good homes, healthy families and neighborhood opportunities in outer southeast Portland.
Housing - ROSE develops affordable housing for rent and for sale to low-income households. We manage and maintain a portfolio of rental housing to provide good homes for low-income residents and maintain housing stock as a long-term asset for our neighborhoods. We currently operate 469 affordable housing units and there are two new projects in pre-development totaling 129 units. During FY 2020 we completed the Orchards of 82nd mixed use building and the Woody Guthrie Place Apartments.
Resident Services - ROSE supports the residents of our affordable housing communities with activities designed to help families succeed and create economic opportunities. Examples include after-school programs, summer enrichment, employment, health promotion, community gardens, recreational activities and social events.
Community development - ROSE organizes a variety of neighborhood improvement projects identified by members of our community. These projects include economic development, place making, parks and child care.
