Stormwater workshops educate residents on how to reduce stormwater runoff, improve stream health, reduce flooding, and learn landscaping options.

Neighbor Associations (NAs) Work to develop a sense of community and comment on issues that impact neighborhood livability. NAs are also about having fun and getting to know neighbors at community events. This past fiscal year, five NAs raised funds necessary to partner with Portland Parks and Recreation to host free movies in parks events. All NAs hosted National Night Out parties in August. Four NAs raised funds to file land use appeals. Several NAs raised funds to purchase street sign caps to create a sense of place. Other activities included building pedestrian trails, ivy removal, planting native plants and supporting neighborhood emergency preparedness presentations.
