THE SKEF TB PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS FAMILY SUPPORT FOR WORKING PARENTS WHO NEED A SAFE, ENRICHING PLACE FOR THEIR KIDS TO BE AFTERSCHOOL.
THE SKEF ENRICHMENT ACADEMY PROVIDES PROGRAMMING AT 15 SALEM-KEIZER AREA SCHOOLS FOR STUDENTS KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 12TH GRADE. SERVING 2589 STUDENTS DAILY, SKEF EA INTEGRATES WITH THE SCHOOL TO PROVIDE A SAFE, NO/LOW COST PROGRAMMING OPTION FOR THOSE STUDENTS. EACH DAY A MEAL IS SERVED AND THEN STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE AND EXTEND BELL TIME LEARNING. SKEF EA CLASSES ARE OFTEN TAUGHT BY BELL TIME TEACHERS AND SUPPORT STAFF, WHICH SUPPORTS THE INCORPORATION OF BELL TIME CONCEPTS AND LEARNING. STUDENTS GET TO PARTICIPATE IN COURSES THAT FOCUS ON STEM, SPORTS AND RECREATION, CTE CLASSES, THE ARTS, HEALTH AND WELLNESS AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION.
