Helping Hands provides services to individuals in crisis situations, including case management, temporary and transitional housing, food, clothing, emergency financial assistance, and life skill classes. The organization operates eleven facilities in four counties. During 2019, over 1,000 adults and children were served. Many received assistance with recovery from substance abuse, domestic violence, and other health issues in over 1,000 skill building classes. Emergency shelter was provided for about over 1,000 persons utilizing 47,454 bunk/nights. Approximately 29,000 meals were served to persons needing assistance. Staff and program clients provided over 12,000 hours of community service.
