Education Program - In addition to investing in an AMS, PNW-ISAs board also made the decision to invest in a Learning Management System (LMS) that is incorporated into the organizations new website. The LMS will support the organizations efforts to provide online learning via half day/full day online workshops, webinars, panel discussions and more. The LMS will be a vital part of the organizations education program and will broaden the organizations reach throughout the PNW region and beyond. The organization felt this was a vital need in response to not only the COVID-19 pandemic, but the need to provide education to individuals and companies in remote parts of the organizations region who are challenged by geographic and financial constraints.
Member Services In May 2020, the PNW-ISA Board made decisions to invest in a new Association Management System (AMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). The AMS streamlined processes for the organizations workshop registrations, special events, membership database, email marketing efforts, etc. It also enabled the organization to reduce expenses for credit card processing fees and third party services such as PayPal, Eventbrite, web design/hosting, etc. This is the first AMS for the organization and its increased membership value by providing an interactive website experience that includes the ability to create member profiles, network amongst colleagues, promote career advancement and development opportunities, etc.
Communications/Marketing PNW-ISA created integrated marketing and communications efforts to increase its outreach amongst members and industry professionals. The organization formed an editorial committee to transform the organizations e-newsletter to a flipbook publication and recruited members to assist with content generation and editing. The new flipbook is a multi-media experience providing members with interactive and engaging video content, articles, hyperlinks to websites, etc. In addition to transforming its e-newsletter, PNW-ISA has increased its communication efforts on social media and increase its audience on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
