Organizations Filed Purposes: Prevention of Human Trafficking through Education and support and advocacy services for survivors of human trafficking. Training on identifying and assisting human trafficking victims is provided to law enforcement agencies, medical personnel, educators, hotel and restaurant employees, and the general public. Education about the signs of potential trafficking and victimization prevention is provided for schools, youth groups, youth in juvenile detention center, and other at-risk populations. It is important to note that the program service expenses below do not include wages and related payroll expenses, of which approximately 75 percent are expended on program services.

Trafficking Awareness and Prevention, and Interdiction for individuals who may interact with victims or potential victims: Training programs are provided for school staff and faculty to help them identify students who may be at risk for or currently be victims of trafficking. These training sessions are usually a part of teacher's in-service sessions. Similar tailored training is also provided for workers in the hotel and restaurant industries through Fierce Freedom's "Be Aware" program. Programming has also been developed and implemented with area municipal and county law enforcement agencies to provide officers with skills to identify victims of trafficking and to use existing laws and legal procedures to give victims opportunity to be removed from their situation. General human trafficking awareness training is also given to many community, church and social organizations to heighten awareness of the issue and to empower individuals to know what signs to look for in their communities and how to report suspicious activity.

Survivor Support and Advocacy: Fierce Freedom interacts directly with victims of Human Trafficking by providing them with referrals and financial assistance for trauma counseling, job skills coaching, and medical & dental care. We assist survivors with locating affordable housing and a stock of donated clothing and personal care products is maintained to provide to victims as they are leave their traffickers. Victim advocates help survivors navigate legal and bureaucratic situations to help them apply for government and privately funded assistance and help them re-assimilate into society.

Awareness and Prevention Training for At-Risk Youth: Fierce Freedom provides classroom and school assembly programs in public and private schools to teach middle and high school students about what human trafficking looks like in their hometowns. This training equips the students to identify if they or their friends are at risk of being trafficked and practical steps they can take to avoid this from occurring. Fierce Freedom has developed a specialized version of this curriculum which is used in area Juvenile Detention Centers, where the population is at an elevated risk of being victimized by traffickers.
