To enrich the character and leadership development of each person who has a Manito-wish experience by challenging them to grow in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God and with one another. Our mission will be provided on a year-round basis summer camp, wilderness tripping and leadership programs to a broad range of participants encompassing youth, young adults and families. The values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility will be clearly evident throughout the program. The Camp Manito-wish YMCA believes in providing camp experiences to all who desire to participate. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing spirit, mind and body, Manito-wish is open to all without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion or ability.

SUMMER CAMP SERVED 0 YOUTH IN THE CURRENT YEAR DUE TO PROGRAM CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID. THE MANITO-WISH EXPERIENCE DEVELOPS CONFIDENT, RESPONSIBLE, AND ENLIGHTENED LEADERS WHO WILL IMPROVE THE WORLD IN WHICH THEY LIVE. YOUTH ARE PROVIDED OPPORTUNITES TO DEVELOP COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP SKILLS, DEVELOP CORE AND BUILD A VARIETY OF LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND SKILLS ALONG WITH AN APPRECIATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR PARTICIPANTS.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS SERVED 125 PARTICIPANTS (DUE TO CANCELLATION OF SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL PROGRAMS DUE TO COVID) THROUGH A DIVERSE GROUP OF MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL, YOUTH SERVING AGENCIES AND COLLEGES. DEVELOPING COLLABORATIVE LEADERSHIP SKILLS, COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND FOSTERING PERSONAL GROWTH ARE KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIER EXPERIENCES. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR PARTICIPANTS.

OUTPOST PROGRAMS SERVED 0 TEEN AGE YOUTH (DUE TO PROGRAM CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID) FOR LONG-TERM CAMPING EXPERIENCES IN THE WILDERNESS. THESE PARTICIPANTS ENHANCE THEIR WILDERNESS CAMPING SKILLS BY TRAVELING IN REMOTE AREAS OF NORTH AMERICA, FURTHER DEVELOP LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND GAIN A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARSHIP. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR PARTICIPANTS.
