MISSION - TO BE A CATALYST FOR THE LIFELONG DISCOVERY AND EXPLORATION OF THE ARTS. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITY.

PRESENTATION OF PERFORMING ARTS IN THE 2018/2019 SEASON, THE WILSON CENTER PRESENTED FIVE DIFFERENT ARTISTIC SERIES (PERFORMING ARTS SERIES, CLUB SERIES, SOUNDS ON STAGE, MATINEE SERIES, FAMILY SERIES, AND STARRY NIGHTS OUTDOOR CONCERT SERIES), AN INTERNATIONAL GUITAR COMPETITION & FESTIVAL, AND SPECIAL PERFORMANCES OF THE MILWAUKEE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA HOLIDAY POPS, TO INCLUDE A TOTAL OF 31 PRESENTED PERFORMANCES. OF THESE 31 PERFORMANCES, SEVEN WERE FREE AND 24 WERE TICKETED.

PRESENTATION OF VISUAL ARTS- THE CENTER PRESENTS VISUAL ARTS IN AN ONGOING ART GALLERY THAT FEATURES THE WORK OF A SINGLE ARTIST OVER THE COURSE OF 6 TO 8 WEEKS. AS PART OF THE 2018/2019 SEASON, SIX ARTISTS WERE PRESENTED. TWO ADDITIONAL EXHIBITS WERE ALSO PRESENTED FOR 1-2 WEEK PERIODS IN OUR ARTS EDUCATION WING.

PRESENTATION OF EDUCATIONAL CLASSES AND PERFORMANCES- THE CENTER RUNS ITS OWN VISUAL ART CLASSES AND PARTNERS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO CONDUCT DANCE, THEATER AND MUSIC CLASSES. IT ALSO PRESENTS A SERIES OF EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCES FOR SCHOOL GROUPS, AND A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY ARTS CAMP IN THE SUMMER. DURING THE 2018/2019 SEASON, THE CENTER PRESENTED 83 VISUAL ART CLASSES AND 6 EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCES.
