Peer Run Respites are homelike facilities run by and for individuals with lived experience of mental health and/or substance use challenges. These programs are intended to serve as a short-term, residential resource for individuals who are experiencing an increase in symptoms or stressors who need and want peer support to aid in their recovery and thereby avert crises and avoid hospitalization.
