PROVIDES CARE TO THE INDIGENT UNDER THE MEDICAID PROGRAM. THE COST NECESSARY TO PROVIDE CARE TO THESE RESIDENTS GENERALLY EXCEEDS MEDICAID REIMBURSEMENT. UNREIMBURSED CHARGES FOR THE MEDICAID RESIDENTS IN FISCAL 2020 WAS APPROXIMATELY $2,739,000. IN ADDITION, CLEMENT PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY $28,000 OF CHARITY CARE SERVICES TO THE NEEDY IN FISCAL 2020.
