Organizations Filed Purposes: OUR MISSION IS TO ENERGIZE AND FACILITATE INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS TO FULLY PARTICIPATE IN MATTERS THAT AFFECT THEIR LIVES BY CULTIVATING COLLABORATIVE CONVERSATIONS THAT PROMPT VISIONING AND ACTIONS SO AS TO FULFILL THEIR SHARED VISION OF THE COMMUNITY AS A MORE WONDERFUL PLACE. WE DO THIS WORK BY: 1. SERVING AS A CONDUIT FOR FUNDING FROM A DONOR TO A PARTICULAR PROJECT THAT OTHERWISE HAS NO LEGAL ENTITY OR STRUCTURE TO RECEIVING THE FUNDING;2. OFFERING SKILLFUL PROCESSES AND EXPERIENCED COACHING; AND3. NURTURING THOUGHTFUL, RATIONAL AND INSPIRING CONVERSATIONS THROUGH OUR FACILITATIVE SERVICES.

ORGANIZATION THAT HELPS COMMUNITIES START-UP PROJECTS LAUNCH.

CORECORE HELD 11 PUBLIC GATHERINGS, 10 CIRCLES OF TRANSFORMATIONAL PRACTICE AND ONE COMMON SOUNDS EVENT, AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS AROUND MADISON THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. FIFTEEN PEOPLE VOLUNTEERED TO HELP MAKE THESE HAPPEN, INCLUDING SERVING AS FACILITATORS, ASSISTING WITH SET-UP, CLEAN-UP, ETC. WE HAD 120 UNIQUE PARTICIPANTS IN THESE EVENTS. CORE ALSO GRANTED FUNDS TO: 14 INDIVIDUALS TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAININGS (7 IN ZEN LEADER TRAININGS AND 7 IN DEEP DIVERSITY) WITH FOLLOW UP GROUP REFLECTION GATHERINGS OFFERED; AND TO AN ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR A VISUAL FACILITATION TRAINING FOR UNDERREPRESENTED INDIVIDUALS. CORE ALSO PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO THREE ORGANIZATIONS WHO RECEIVED FUNDS FROM A RELATED FAMILY FOUNDATION.

MADISON COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT COALITIONMADISON COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT COALITION WORKED WITH 17 POTENTIAL CO-OPS AND GAVE SIX OF THEM GRANTS, TWO OF WHICH INCORPORATED IN 2019. WE HELD NUMEROUS PRESENTATIONS AND MEETINGS, AND ATTENDED SEVERAL CONFERENCES, INCLUDING TWO OUT OF STATE AND ONE IN CANADA. WE ALSO WORKED WITH A LONG LIST OF COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS, AND GAVE THREE OF THEM GRANTS.

PROGRESS CENTER FOR BLACK WOMENHIGHLIGHTS FROM 2019 INCLUDE ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL PHOTOS W/ SANTA EVENT, SEVERAL OUTDOOR CHILDREN'S AUTHOR READINGS, AND REGULAR USE OF THE CENTER BY COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
