DANEnet's mission is to make information technology accessible and affordable through education and services for nonprofit organizations and individuals with barriers to access.
DANEnet provided technology support, maintenance, services and training for 129 nonprofit organizations for over 4069 hours. DANEnet coordinated the IT Day of Service and engaged 49 volunteers in 9 IT service project. DANEnet provided education for nonprofits on IT best practices, network design and technology planning.
DANEnet provided technology education for youth through Maker Clubs, Kids Code Madison, Maker Camps and workshops at Gaming and Coding Day. Over 145 youth participated in technology education with DANEnet.
Everyone On Madison provides digital inclusion activities that include digital literacy, community Fix IT clinics, low-cost device deployment and broadband adoption support. In 2018 the program helped 486 households connect to the internet, deployed 201 computers to low-income households, taught 261 adults digital literacy skills and fixed 112 devices in the community.
