FILENE RESEARCH INSTITUTE SEEKS OUT HIGH PRIORITY RESEARCH QUESTIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF CONSUMERS AND THE COOPERATIVE FINANCE MOVEMENT. THE INSTITUTE REGULARLY PUBLISHED REPORTS ON ITS RESEARCH FINDINGS AND THE OUTPUTS TAKE MANY FORMS INCLUDING RESEARCH REPORTS, INFOGRAPHICS, AND SLIDE DECKS. OUR COMMUNITIES SUPPORT YOUNG PROFESSIONALS THROUGH THE COOPERATIVE TRUST AND PARTICIPATION IN THE FILENE CRASH PROGRAM THIS YEAR OVER 140 YOUNG PROFESSIONALS WERE IMPACTED BY THE PROGRAM. IN ADDITION, OUR I3 PROGRAM (IDEAS, INNOVATION AND IMPLEMENTATION) FOCUSES ON EMERGING LEADERS INTRODUCES INNOVATION METHODOLOGIES AND ACCELERATES INNOVATIVE THINKING FOR 40 CREDIT UNION PARTICIPANTS.
FILENE RESEARCH INSTITUTE'S APPLIED RESEARCH & INNOVATION PROGRAMS TAKE THE MOST PROMISING RESEARCH AND USE IT TO BUILD AND TEST IDEAS OR MARKET-READY SOLUTIONS WITH CREDIT UNIONS IN FILENE INCUBATORS TO SOLVE REAL-WORLD, CONSUMER FINANCE PROBLEMS. FROM INCREASING MEMBER LOYALTY, PROVIDING MEMBERS WITH ALTERNATIVE PAYDAY LENDING PROGRAMS, SERVING IMMIGRANT AND UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS, TO ENHANCING STRATEGIC AND INNOVATION EFFORTS.
