Freedom, Inc. is a grassroots organization that works with low-income communities of color in Dane County, Wisconsin. Founded in 2000 by Southeast Asian-American youth, Freedom, Inc.'s mission is to inspire and empower individuals through leadership development and community organizing that will bring about social, political, and economic change. Freedom, Inc. is supported primarily through grants and contributions.
The program is gender-language-cultural-sexuality-generation-specific that work to end violence against women, children, queer, gender-non-conforming, and transgender folks in the Black and Southeast Asian communities.
