Governor Tony Evers proclaimed 2019 the "Year of Drinking Water" and issued executive orders that address PFAS, lead, and manure contamination of drinking water - positions that WCV supports and has worked to prioritize in previous years. We are monitoring the impact of these orders across the state, and working with citizens who have been affected by contamination of drinking water. We have also developed broad based coalitions in communities across the state to champion 100% clean energy at the local level, including providing cities, counties, and school boards with a Clean Energy Toolkit. We continue to work in Native communities to make sure that voting is easy and accessible, and to work for a healthier democracy for all.
