THE WISCONSIN RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION'S MIDWEST FOODSERVICE EXPO PROVIDES A VALUABLE OPPORTUNITY FOR RESTAURATEURS AND SUPPLIERS TO NETWORK, SAMPLE AND TEST NEW PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SEMINARS, AND BE EXPOSED TO THE LATEST IDEAS IN THE FOODSERVICE INDUSTRY. THE TRADE SHOW INFORMS MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS IN THE FOODSERVICE INDUSTRY OF CURRENT BUSINESS ISSUES AND INFORMATION AND ENABLES THEM TO INTERACT WITH GOVERNMENT AGENTS AND REGULATORS.

THE WISCONSIN RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION'S GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS WORK REVIEWS AND RECOMMENDS LEGISLATIVE POSITIONS ON ISSUES OF INTEREST TO THE FOODSERVICE INDUSTRY AND THE ASSOCIATION'S MEMBERSHIP. THE ASSOCIATION MAINTAINS POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND ADVISES MEMBERS ON PROPOSED LEGISLATION AND EXISTING LAWS THAT AFFECT THE INDUSTRY AND SMALL BUSINESSES, WHICH IN TURN CAN HAVE A POSITIVE EFFECT ON THE ECONOMY AS A WHOLE.
