The Autism Society envisions individuals and families living with autism are able to maximize their quality of life, are treated with the highest level of dignity, and live in a society in which their talents and skills are appreciated and valued.
To improve the lives of all affected by autism.
Education: Provided educational workshops for parents, educators, individuals with autism and other professionals across Wisconsin. In 2019, ASW hosted 3 conferences serving more than 1,000 participants. Information and Referral: Provided support and information over the phone and via email for those affected by autism. Information is also provided through a printed quarterly newsletter, website, Facebook page and yahoo listserv. Resources provided include a statewide resource directory, a Next Steps booklet and other related materials.
