Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Foundation supports innovation and excellence in learning by building partnerships within our communities. Our mission is: To build partnerships with our citizens, businesses, parents, staff, former staff and alumni. To serve as an independent repository for private giving through endowment, pass-through grants and scholarships. To ensure equitable access to learning opportunities. To enrich learning by funding innovative and creative programs and experiences in our district.
To provide inspiring experiences for our students now, and for decades to come, through teacher innovation grants, student scholarships and a growing endowment.
Personal Hygiene: MCPASD social workers reached out to the Education Foundation in April 2020 about supporting students in need with personal hygiene products. The Education Foundation helped raise funds to purchase initial rounds of supplies. To continue to meet the high demand, the Education Foundation connected with Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) to continue funding the program. Currently, our two nonprofits alternate funding the program on a monthly basis, and MCPASD social workers continue to organize the purchasing, packing and distribution to students. The Education Foundation is grateful for the community support, especially our partnership with MOM, of our students in need.
Pandemic support: We raised money to provide meals to students while school was not in session within the buildings.
Weekend Meals: We raised money to provide weekend meals for students in need.
