Organizations Filed Purposes:
The objectives of the organization are the advancement of medical science; the cultivation of clinical research by the methods of the natural and behavioral sciences; the correlation of science with the art of medical practice; the encouragement of scientific investigation by the medical practitioner; the diffusion of a scientific spirit among the members of the organization; the sponsorship of scientific meetings; and the publication, without profit to the society, for national and international distribution, of papers on the methods and results of clinical research.

Annual Meeting: The Annual Meeting has a rich tradition of providing a forum for Young Investigators, Fellows and Associate/Assistant Professors to present their research to leaders in their fields. This is one of the few multi specialty meetings with a broad focus where the attendees can learn about research techniques used in other medical specialties and apply those techniques to their own research.
Journal - Translational Research: Publishes the latest research on human disease from all sub specialties of medicine.
Career Development Awards: The Early Career Development Awards are $10,000 grants available to current members, or individuals applying for membership, who currently hold an NIH K08, K23 or K30 award with the goal of providing research support to researchers at the fellow or junior faculty level. Applicants must submit a current curriculum vitae (CV), and two (2) letters of recommendation and must be available to present their work at the combined annual meeting.
