ALONG WITH ASSESSING FOR SAFETY, CASE MANAGERS CONDUCT PARENTAL PROTECTIVE CAPACITY ASSESSMENT, DEVELOP SERVICE PLANS, REFER FAMILIES TO FORMAL AND INFORMAL SUPPORTS, MONITOR PARENTAL PROGRESS AND PREPARE AND PARTICIPATE IN LEGAL PROCESSES SUCH AS PERMANENCY HEARINGS, EXTENSION HEARINGS, AND HEARINGS REGARDING TERMINATION OF PARENTAL RIGHTS. DURING 2019, 1114 FAMILIES BENEFITTED FROM THE PROGRAM.
TREATMENT FOSTER CARE: PROVIDES TREATMENT FOSTER HOMES FOR BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 0 TO 18 THAT HAVE SPECIAL EMOTIONAL, BEHAVIORAL, AND ACADEMIC NEEDS. ALSO, PROVIDES SPECIALIZED SERVICES TO PREVENT PLACEMENT DISRUPTION, MEET INDIVIDUAL TREATMENT NEEDS, AND ACHIEVE BEST POSSIBLE OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE FOUR LEVELS OF TREATMENT FOSTER CARE ARE SUPPORTIVE, ENHANCED, INTENSIVE, AND EXCEPTIONAL
CARE COORDINATION AND OTHER PROGRAMS: CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES PROVIDED TO EMOTIONALLY DISTURBED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES. EMPOWERING FAMILIES TO TAKE OVER AND MANAGE A CHILD'S CARE, INCLUDING ADVOCATING FOR THE CHILD IN THEIR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY AND FINDING RESOURCES TO SUPPORT THE CHILD.INTEGRATED COMMUNITY TREATMENT: SERVES CLIENTS THAT ARE PLACED BY SCHOOL DISTRICTS. THE PROGRAM ADDRESSES TREATMENT NEEDS THROUGH AN INTENSIVE MODEL COMBINING ACADEMICS, THERAPY, PROJECT BASED INSTRUCTION AND SERVICE LEARNING.
