TRANSCENTER FOR YOUTH INC. OPERATES FOUR SCHOOLS.

HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION PROGRAMS THAT ALLOW STUDENTS TO EXCEL IN NON-TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS.

EL PUENTE HIGH SCHOOL IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A FULL DAY, ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL-TO-WORK EDUCATION, WITH EMPHASIS ON MATH AND SCIENCE FOR AT-RISK STUDENTS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF MILWAUKEE. EL PUENTE OPENED IN JULY 1997. THE MILWAUKEE PARENTAL CHOICE PROGRAM CURRENTLY FUNDS THE SCHOOL.

NORTHWEST OPPORTUNITIES VOCATIONAL ACADEMY (NOVA) IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE A FULL DAY, ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL-TO WORK EDUCATION FOR AT-RISK STUDENTS ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF MILWAUKEE. SINCE 1993, NOVA HAS BEEN SERVING AT-RISK STUDENTS THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH MILWAUKEE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

ESCUELA VERDE EDUCATES USING THE EDVISIONS STUDENT-CENTERED, PROJECT-BASED ACADEMIC MODEL WITH FOCUS ON ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE AND URBAN ECOLOGY. SINCE 2012, THE SCHOOL HAS BEEN FUNDED PRIMARILY THROUGH A CITY OF MILWAUKEE 2R CHARTER CONTRACT.
