Organizations Filed Purposes: WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE IS AN INDEPENDENT, NATIONALLY RANKED CHRISTIAN LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE THAT SERVES TRADITIONAL, ADULT DEGREE COMPLETION, AND GRADUATE STUDENTS. WLC PREPARES STUDENTS FOR LIVES OF CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP AND HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED FOR ITS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND SUPERIOR STUDENT EXPERIENCE. CHRISTIAN FACULTY WORK DIRECTLY WITH STUDENTS, WHO BENEFIT FROM NUMEROUS RESEARCH, SERVICE, AND CO-CURRICULAR OPPORTUNITIES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE ACADEMIC AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN A NURTURING AND CARING ENVIRONMENT. WLC'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO ITS STUDENTS FOR AN EDUCATION ROOTED IN THE LIBERAL ARTS WHILE KEEPING WITH THE THEOLOGICAL FOUNDATION OF ITS CONFERENCE CONGREGATIONS AND THE WI EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN SYNOD. FOR 2018-19,WLC REPORTED ITS HIGHEST EVER FRESHMAN ENROLLMENT, NUMBER OF STUDENTS LIVING ON CAMPUS, AND NUMBER OF STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN ONE OR MORE OF WLC'S 17 NCAA DIVISION 3 SPORTS. OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS, WLC HAS GROWN ITS ENROLLMENT BY MORE THAN 79%.

WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE IS A PRIVATE, FOUR-YEAR LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE.

INSTRUCTION AND ACADEMIC SUPPORT: WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE OFFERS NATIONALLY RANKED ACADEMIC PROGRAMS IN A CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT. STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN SMALL CLASSES AND RECEIVE ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING FROM PROFESSORS. WLC DOES NOT USE TEACHING ASSISTANTS. THE COLLEGE PREPARES ITS 1,200 TRADITIONAL, ADULT, AND GRADUATE STUDENTS TO BE CHRISTIAN LEADERS IN THEIR CHOSEN ACADEMIC FIELDS. TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS CAN CHOOSE TO MAJOR OR MINOR IN A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS, INCLUDING BUSINESS, NURSING, EDUCATION, SPORT AND EXERCISE SCIENCE, AND BIOLOGY. WLC ALSO OFFERS FIVE PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDING PRE-LAW, PRE-VETERINARY, PRE-ENGINEERING, PRE-MEDICAL, AND PRE-DENTAL. WLC HAS FORGED PARTNERSHIPS WITH RENOWNED COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO PROVIDE DUAL DEGREE OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS. DUAL DEGREE AFFILIATIONS ALLOW STUDENTS TO EARN TWO DEGREES, AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE FROM WLC AND A GRADUATE DEGREE FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY. MANY PROGRAMS OFFER STUDENTS THE ABILITY TO CONDENSE THEIR TIME IN SCHOOL (OFTEN A YEAR OR MORE), WHICH SAVES THEM MONEY ON TUITION COSTS AND ALLOWS THEM TO ENTER THE WORKPLACE SOONER. THE DUAL DEGREE PROGRAMS AT WLC INCLUDE CHIROPRACTIC CARE, DENTAL MEDICINE, ENGINEERING, LAW, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, OPTOMETRY, OSTEOPATHIC MEDICINE, PHARMACY, PHYSICAL THERAPY, AND PODIATRY. IN 2019, THROUGH AN ANONYMOUS GIFT, WLC RENOVATED TWO EXISTING SPACES ON CAMPUS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF CURRENT AND FUTURE STUDENTS. THE DEDICATED SCIENCE BUILDING, GENERAC HALL, WAS EQUIPPED WITH NEW LABS, INCLUDING ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOY, AND SPORT AND EXERCISE SCIENCE. THESE NEW LABS, ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL CLASSROOM AND STUDENT GATHERING SPACES, ARE A WELCOME ADDITION TO THE 30 PERCENT OF WLC STUDENTS WHO ARE PURSUING A MAJOR IN THE HEALTH AND LIFE SCIENCES. THE GIFT ALSO PROVIDED A NEW SPORTS PERFORMANCE CENTER FOR STUDENT-ATHLETES, AN EXPANDED FITNESS CENTER FOR ALL STUDENTS, A DEDICATED GOLF CENTER, AND NEW SIMULATION EQUIPMENT FOR YEAR-ROUND TRAINING.

AUXILARY ENTERPRISES AND STUDENT SERVICES: THROUGH THE OFFICE OF RESIDENCE LIFE, WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE OFFERED GUIDANCE, SUPPORT, ACTIVITIES, AND CAMPUS HOUSING TO 673 STUDENTS WHO LIVED IN 44 COLLEGE-OWNED BUILDINGS IN 2018-2019. OUTSIDE GROUPS AND CAMP ATTENDEES ALSO UTILIZED CAMPUS HOUSING DURING THE SUMMER. THE COLLEGE MANAGES DINING FACILITIES FOR ITS RESIDENT STUDENTS, COMMUTERS, FACULTY, STAFF, GUESTS, AND OUTSIDE GROUPS THAT HOLD EVENTS AND CONFERENCES AT THE COLLEGE.

PUBLIC SERVICE AND INSTITUTIONAL: WISCONSIN LUTHERAN COLLEGE SERVES ITS COMMUNITY THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS. STUDENTS PERFORM SERVICE PROJECTS LOCALLY, NATIONALLY, AND INTERNATIONALLY THROUGH THE OFFICE OF CAMPUS MINISTRY, WARRIORS AT WORK, NEW FRIENDS, AND OTHER CAMPUS ORGANIZATIONS.
