Organizations Filed Purposes: TO PROVIDE AND PROTECT WISCONSIN GROUND WATER THROUGH EDUCATION AND REGULATION.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT HOURS AS APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES (DNR) ARE OFFERED AT A SERIES OF SESSIONS THAT TYPICALLY TRAVEL THROUGHOUT THE STATE. IN THE 2019-20 YEAR, SOME OF THE COURSES WERE HELD VIRTUALLY DUE TO COVID-19. EACH SESSION HAS A SERIES OF SPEAKERS WHO PROVIDE CONTENT PRE-VETTED BY THE DNR TO EARN THE CREDIT NECESSARY TO RENEW THEIR INDIVIDUAL LICENSES HELD FOR PUMP INSTALLER, WELL DRILLER AND HEAT EXCHANGE DRILLER. INCLUDING THE SECOND DAY OF THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF TWELVE OF THESE TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED IN THE 2019-20 YEAR, WHICH IS DOUBLE THE PRIOR YEAR. FOUR OF THESE WERE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY.

THE ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE BEGINS ON THE FIRST DAY WITH THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING FOLLOWED BY A RECEPTION WHICH RECOGNIZES SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS, LIFETIME AND HONORARY MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION. THE CONFERENCE WAS ATTENDED BY 325 PARTICIPANTS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT HOURS AS APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES AS WELL AS VISIT 54 DIFFERENT EXHIBITORS IN THE TRADE SHOW. AN EVENING BOWLING TOURNAMENT FOLLOWED THE DAY OF TRAINING.

THE TRIENNIAL PRINTED NEWSLETTER PROVIDES A WAY TO CONVEY IMPORTANT INDUSTRY TRENDS, DEVELOPMENTS, INFORMATION AND EDUCATION TO THE MORE THAN 1,300 LICENSE HOLDERS THROUGHOUT WISCONSIN. IT FURTHER ALLOWS THE ASSOCIATION OFFICE AND SUPPORTIVE COMPANY MEMBERS THE MEANS TO KEEP READERSHIP AWARE OF UPCOMING EVENTS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.
