Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission of Philadelphia Community Farm, Inc is to restore health and vitality to people, animals, plants and the earth.

CSA & Farm: One of the first community supported agriculture programs in the Midwest, Buttermilk Falls CSA, as a program of PCF, grows produce for 100 households in the St. Croix Valley and Minneapolis-St. Paul. The farm is committed to its internships, a small collection of humanely-raised animals, open-pollinated seeds and pesticide-free methods. The farmstead sits on 68-acres of land in conservation and adjoins Buffalo Skull, a 245- acre restored native prairie, oak savannah and limestone ridge overlooking the St. Croix River. We are proud to steward a model for restorative agricultural practices on land in conservation. Highlights of this protected refuge include a natural spring, our program's namesake waterfall, and an unusually rich and diverse web of ecosystems.

Lifesharing: Certified as an adult family home by Inclusa, PCF is home to short and long-term residents seeking a safe and therapeutic environment grounded in dignity and purpose. Through consistent household and season rhythms, practical work and robust social inclusion, lifesharing has the capacity to restore balance to its participants. Direct support and attunement to individualized safety make lifesharing at the farm effective.

Education: Buttermilk Falls Folk School & Retreat Center The cultural and artistic heart of the farm, our vibrant folk school programs include artist residencies, workshops and retreats, classes and events. Orchard House hosts groups for overnight stays. We prioritize use by Queer, Trans, Black and People of Color communities. On-farm education programs exist for people of all ages. PCF partners with schools and other non-profit or civic organizations focused on youth enrichment to provide practical experiences in the garden and in nature that bolster an understanding and appreciation for sustainable agriculture, conservation and food justice.
