TO PROMOTE & ENCOURAGE THE PRESERVATION & OPERATION OF EX-MILITARY AIRCRAFT, TO EDUCATE IN METHODS OF SAFE OPERATION & MAINTENANCE, & TO ORGANIZE & PROMOTE EX-MILITARY DEMOS.
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FOLLOWING: MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS HELD AT VARIOUS FLY-INS, DISTRIBUTION OF VARIOUS AWARDS AT SUCH MEETINGS, EVENT REGISTRATION, PROMOTION OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE ORGANIZATION AND KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION PROVIDED TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST IN THE RESTORATION OF EX-MILITARY AIRCRAFT TO ORIGINAL SPECIFICATIONS.
PUBLICATION - "WARBIRDS" IS A MEMBERSHIP PUBLICATION PUBLISHED EIGHT TIMES EACH YEAR AND FEATURES STORIES ABOUT WARBIRD AIRCRAFT, ARTICLES OF HISTORICAL INTEREST, NEWS AND SUPERB COLOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
WARBIRDS IN REVIEW - A PROGRAM AT AIRVENTURE OSHKOSH THAT PRESENTS LEGENDARY PILOTS AND MILITARY AIRCRAFT OF THE PAST 75 YEARS. THE TWICE-DAILY SESSIONS OFFER ATTENDEES A RARE CHANCE TO SEE AVIATION LEGENDS AND OTHERS UP CLOSE WITH AIRCRAFT TYPES THAT THEY FLEW IN COMBAT, TESTING OR TRAINING. MEMBERS GENEROUSLY PROVIDE THEIR AIRCRAFT AND TALK ABOUT THE MANY FACETS OF WARBIRD OWNERSHIP. THE SESSIONS FEATURE FASCINATING "INSIDE" STORIES FROM THE PRESENTERS AND INCLUDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FROM THE AUDIENCE.
