To provide services to adults with disabilities based on the needs of each individual designed to help them live their lives to the fullest.____ Catholic Charities Bureau Affiliates are organized to maintain, operate and conduct; directly or indirectly; as well as to assist and coordinate activities and Social Services in accordance with the charitable Works and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. Works are carried out in accordance with Catholic Social teachings.
Our mission is to provide services to adults with disabilities based on the needs of each individual designed to help them lead their lives to the fullest.
Enterprises were specifically created to support individuals with disabilities with hands-on work opportunities at a pace and expectation level that meets the individuals current abilities while also providing a safe environment to focus on community workplace readiness. Within the facility, 40 participants received 72,548 hours of pre-vocational services to pursue their individual prevocational goals toward future community employment while earning $174,327. DSI also operates an enclave within the Parker Hannifin Plant in Grantsburg WI where a total of 13 Individuals with disabilities participated in working in this setting with a total of 5441 hours of service.
DSI has a contract with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation providing job development, job shadowing/coaching, task analysis, transportation, employment career profile services and transition to long term community employment. In 2019, 26 individuals pursued community employment through a contract with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
