THE MISSION STATEMENT OF TREATMENT TRENDS, INC. IS TO PROVIDE COMPASSIONATE INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT TREATMENT SERVICES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND HUMAN SERVICES SYSTEMS IN ORDER TO LESSEN SUFFERING CAUSED BY ADDICTION TO ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS. TREATMENT TRENDS, INC.'S GOAL IS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS GAIN LONG-TERM RECOVERY FROM THEIR ADDICTION AND RELATED SELF-DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR.
TO PROVIDE A PROGRAM FOR THE RESIDENTIAL AND OUTPATIENT TREATMENT OF PERSONS COMMITTED TO A LIFESTYLE OF DRUG-ALCOHOL ABUSE OR CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR.
KEENAN HOUSE PROVIDES MODERATE TO LONG TERM IN-PATIENT, NON-HOSPITAL ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES TO ADULT MALE CRIMINAL JUSTICE (VOLUNTARY AND INVOLUNTARY) CLIENTS. KEENAN HOUSE IS LICENSED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROGRAMS. THIS THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY PROVIDES SPECIALIZED TRACKS OF TREATMENT THAT ARE COMPREHENSIVE, UTILIZE NUMEROUS APPROACHES AND BLEND SEVERAL MODELS SUCH AS: THE DISEASE MODEL, SOCIAL LEARNING MODEL, PSYCHO-EDUCATIONAL MODEL AND PSYCHODYNAMIC MODELS. THIS BLENDING ENABLES BOTH HABILITATION AND REHABILITATION TO BE ENHANCED THROUGHOUT ALL PHASES OF TREATMENT. INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SESSIONS ALLOW CLIENTS TIME TO ASSESS THEIR GROWTH AND DISCUSS TREATMENT NEEDS. TREATMENT ALSO INCLUDES ASPECTS OF BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT WITH AN EMPHASIS ON RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY. SPECIALIZED TRACKS ADDRESS CRIMINALITY, PRO-SOCIAL LIVING AND CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS. VOCATIONAL ASSESSMENT, JOB READINESS TRAINING, RESUME WRITING AND INTERVIEWING SKILLS ARE PART OF THE RE-ENTRY PHASE OF THE PROGRAM. NINE HOURS OF GED CLASSES ARE OFFERED WEEKLY. WHILE AT KEENAN HOUSE, RESIDENTS ARE INTRODUCED TO 12-STEP SUPPORT PROGRAMMING, SHEPHERDED THROUGH THE RE-ENTRY PHASE BY A TRANSITIONAL GROUP, AND ARE THEN ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ONGOING ALUMNAE GROUP TO SUSTAIN RECOVERY. THIS MELTING OF MODELS AND APPROACHES IS INCORPORATED INTO THE HEART OF WHAT KEENAN HOUSE CONSIDERS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT MODEL IT UTILIZES, THE THERAPEUTIC COMMUNITY (TC) MODEL, FOR THE DELIVERY OF ITS SERVICES.
THE HALFWAY HOME OF THE LEHIGH VALLEY IS A 40-BED HALFWAY HOUSE LICENSED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROGRAMS. THE FACILITY IS PROFESSIONALLY STAFFED AND MANAGED IN A SUPPORTIVE, CHEMICAL-FREE ENVIRONMENT. PROGRAMMING WITHIN THE FACILITY EMPHASIZES INDEPENDENT GROWTH, CITIZENSHIP AND RESPONSIBLE COMMUNITY LIVING. THESE SERVICES HELP TO INTEGRATE PERSONS IN CARE WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES IN RECOVERY. THE PROGRAMMING OFFERS COUNSELING SERVICES, VOCATIONAL/EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT AND OTHER RELATED SERVICES THAT ARE DESIGNED TO ASSIST PERSONS IN DEVELOPING SELF-SUFFICIENCY. THE HALFWAY HOME IS A VOLUNTARY PROGRAM AND IS DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE WHO UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE A PROBLEM AND REQUIRE A SUPPORTIVE STRUCTURE. THE HHLV PROVIDES SERVICES TO ADULT MALES AND FEMALES WITH ADDICTION OR ALCOHOLISM AS WELL AS INDIVIDUALS WITH CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS.
CONFRONT PROVIDES ENHANCED OUTPATIENT AND INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT AND DRUG AND ALCOHOL ASSESSMENTS. CONFRONT IS LICENSED BY THE PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROGRAMS. CONFRONT IS A LEADER IN OUTPATIENT TREATMENT FOR A DIVERSE POPULATION RANGING FROM SELF-REFERRALS TO THOSE THAT HAVE BEEN MANDATED BY THE COURT TO TREATMENT. INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP COUNSELING IS TAILORED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
