TO PROVIDE CHRISTIAN FAITH-BASED SOCIAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES WHICH ADDRESS THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN CRISIS.

NETWORK OF HOPE HELPS THOSE MARGINALIZED BY HARDSHIP. OUR ORGANIZATION GOES BEYOND CHARITY TO PROMOTE LASTING CHANGE, ONE STEP AT A TIME. BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL CHURCHES, NETWORK OF HOPE MEETS REAL NEEDS THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS THAT WORK TO RESTORE BROKEN MEN, WOMEN, AND FAMILIES.OUR PROGRAMS FALL INTO ONE OF FIVE CATEGORIES:1. Food Bank: The Network of Hope Food Bank has a mission to feed bellies and spirits. With the help of over 50 volunteers, we distribute food to over 3,200 households per year. The food bank is an agency of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The food bank is located at the Allison Park Church Hampton Campus.2. SERVE Day: SERVE Day is the opportunity for the people of Allison Park Church to join together for one day to serve the community through various campus events and outreach projects. 30+ projects happen with 1,000 volunteers mobilized all over the City of Pittsburgh. More than 40,000 are impacted and served via SERVE Day. This is a campus wide program.3. Support & Service Groups: The Network of Hope has a variety of support and service groups in place to promote lasting change in the lives of people. Nearly 30 groups function to offer support ranging from divorce, financial coaching, widows, etc. Service groups help with executing outreaches to support group members, or the community in general.4. Family Blessing Project: The Family Blessing Project helps with families facing significant financial barriers at Christmastime. Groups of individuals at Allison Park Church sponsor a family to help in their time of need. Benevolence is considered for some cases. Network of Hope administers this program serving more than 50 families per year.5. Celebrate Recovery: Following the national model, Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step program supporting people with hurts, habits, and hang-ups. The program operates in a corporate and group format. Groups range from anger management, alcohol dependency to co-dependency.
